
The Sinai Infectious Disease Center (SIDC) has been providing infectious disease services on Chicago’s west side for over 20 years. Our mission is to provide the highest quality care in the community for the community. Our “wraparound” service approach means that we provide both medical and social support services, demonstrating our dedication to treating the whole being. Services are provided in the Mount Sinai Hospital Infectious Disease Clinic (MSHIDC).

Located inside Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, SIDC:
- Provides comprehensive infectious disease care for patients seeking consultation and or treatment for HIV, hepatitis C, PrEP and many other infectious diseases
- Accepts most types of insurance and provides care regardless of insurance status
- Collaborative practice composed of:
- Three board-certified Infectious Disease Physicians who have been serving Chicago’s west side communities for two decades
- A Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive infectious disease care
- An Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist who is on site to assist with medication education and acquisition to ensure safe and effective outpatient initiation and continuation of therapy
- MSHIDC physicians can also facilitate access to other specialty care services if needed via referral.
- The MSHIDC team works with all patients including those for whom English is a secondary language.
- We offer comprehensive and compassionate care for patients seeking consultation for infectious disease related issues.
